Welcome!

My name is Hunter Albert and I’m a huge fan of the medium of film and television. I received my Film and Media Studies degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. At The University of Oklahoma, I took a wide variety of film courses from including Media Theory and Methodologies, Film History, Japanese Cinema, Turkish Cinema, Irish Cinema, and many more. My senior project was analyzing Italian Neorealism in the 1952 film Umberto D by Vittorio De Sica.

My journey to this site has been a long one. Amidst a lot of life transitions, odd career hours, and a lot personal hurdles to jump, my passion for this medium has never left.

My natural curiosity in film has exposed me to a lot of different life perspectives that I have found valuable. Films have the raw power to connect people from all over the world and bring perspectives and conflicts that one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

You can read more about my reasoning to launch this site in my post titled “Crossroads” here.

It’s highly likely that nobody will ever stumble across this site. And I’m perfectly okay with that. This is a passion project for myself, first and foremost. If I pick a few readers along the way, all the better.
